| "Shock Wave" (Schreckenswoge) war die weltweit erste Achterbahn, bei der zwei Loopings hintereinander aufgestellt wurden. Eine sehr schöne Optik und ein tollkühnes Rechenexempel zugleich. Das Tempo des Zuges muss ausreichen um den zweiten Looping zu durchfahren, welcher die gleichen Dimensionen hat wie der Erste. Es darf aber andererseits auch nicht zu hoch sein, damit die Kräfte, die bei der Einfahrt in den ersten Looping entstehen, für Passagiere erträglich bleiben. Sie liegen bei 5,9 positiven G. Eine Besonderheit ist die hier verwendete Schienenkonstruktion. Sie kam außer bei der "Shock Wave" nur noch ein zweites Mal bei der Anlage "Mind Bender" in "Six Flags over Georgia" in Atlanta, USA zum Einsatz. | |

| "Shock Wave" is the world's first roller coaster to feature consecutive loops. Nice to look at and a reckless calculation, too. The train needs enough speed to complete the second loop, which has the same dimensions as the first. But it should not go too fast, to ensure that riders accept the force (coming up while entering the first loop). There is a force of 5.9 positive G's. The track system used on "Shock Wave" is very special. Only two coasters feature that system. The second one is "Mind Bender" at "Six Flags over Georgia" in Atlanta, USA. | |
