Rudolf Barths
"Dreier Looping" wurde im Juni 1984 auf dem Schützenfest in Hannover
eingeweiht und war seiner Zeit die weltweit erste Achterbahn, die 3 Loopings zu bieten
hatte. Der Schausteller betrieb die Bahn 12 Jahre lang ehe er sie nach Malaysia verkaufte.
Seit der Saison 1997 lief die Anlage im "Sunway Lagoon" Park in Bandar
Sunway, Malaysia, unter dem Namen "Triple Loop Coaster", was nichts anderes
bedeutet als "Dreier Looping". In Malaysia schien man mit dieser Achterbahn
nicht glücklich zu werden. Sie stand eine ganze Weile zum Verkauf und fand ihren Käufer
in England.
Die neue Heimat, ab dem Jahr 2000, war das "Flamingoland" in Kirby
Misperton,England. Dort wurde der "Dreier Looping" dann unter der Bezeichnung
"Wall's Magnum Force" 5 Jahre betrieben.
Erneuter Standortwechsel: 2006 gelangte der Stahlgigant nach Mexico
City, Mexico. Nach einer Generalüberholung ging "Montaña Infinitum" 2007 im "La Feria Chapultepec" Park in Betrieb.
Die Anlage wurde später in "Quimera" umbenannt. Leider ereignete sich im
September 2019 ein Unfall, der auf grobe Fahrlässigleit des Betreibers
zurückzuführen war. Da dies nicht der erste Zwischenfall in diesem Park war,
wurde er von den Behörden geschlossen.
Standortwechsel: Ab 2023 soll
die Anlage als "American Triple Loop" im "Indiana Beach" Park, USA
laufen.
Die Aufnahmen entstanden (außer der
ersten und der aus Malaysia) 1993 auf dem Neusser Schützenfest.

"Dreier
Looping", which simply means "Triple Loop", started operation in june 1984
at the fairground in Hannover, Germany. It was the world's first rollercoaster
with 3 vertical
loops. Showman Rudolf Barth purchased the coaster and operated it for 12 years till he
sold it to Malaysia.
Since the season in 1997 it run at "Sunway Lagoon" Park in
Bandar Sunway, Malaysia, and was called "Triple Loop Coaster". Thereat, the coaster
did not stay at that place for a long time. A new park was needed and found.
From the year 2000, the
coaster operated for 5 years at "Flamingoland" in Kirby Misperton, England under the name
"Wall's Magnum Force".
In 2006 the steel-giant was sold to "La Feria Chapultepec" park in
Mexico City, Mexico. After a general overhaul "Montaña Infinitum"
started operation in 2007. Later on the coaster was renamed to "Quimera". Unfortunately, in September 2019, an accident occurred due to gross negligence of the operator. Since this was not the first incident in this park, the amusement park was closed by the authorities.
Relocation: From 2023 on the coaster is planned to oparete at "Indiana Beach",
USA as "American Triple Loop".
